Holy Land Pilgrimage, Part II - March 3-10, 2021
A Holy Land Pilgrimage, designed by Mika Rabinovich, Sandy Gies, and Pastor Pete is scheduled for March 3-10, 2021.
With a custom itinerary, this pilgrimage will follow similar paths to our other two pilgrimages but will focus on different places of interest, including:
Kursi Archeological site
Pillar of Absalom
Ein Gedi Reserve
Garden of Gethsemane (private side)
We have the land cost, but air will not be available until closer to the time. Because this is a custom tour, the more that decide to go with, the less the cost! With 20 pilgrims, the land cost will be $2459 per person. With 30 or more, the land cost will be $2289 per person land only.
A website is available at https://www.gate1travel.com/Cms/Package/1857756 for information and reservations. Full refunds are available until 180 days to departure (around September 3, 2020).

“A Radical Call”
Pete Berntson, Proclaimer
Our scripture for this weekend is Matthew 4:12-23. Jesus has left the Judea area of Israel and is now in the Galilean region, living the village of Capernaum. His message is pointed and direct — “…the kingdom of God is near!”
Walking along the Sea of Galilee, he extends a radical call to others to join in this work that he is doing. Remarkably there is no interview, no reference checks, no performance contract, just another invitation to “Follow me.”
We don’t know if others also were called but did not come along. We do know some did respond and became part of a movement that is still changing the world. Even more remarkable, this Jesus is extending to us this radical call. How will you respond?
So come this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. to our contemporary worship experience, the “Gathering.” Portia will center us, and Lauren, along with Jeff and Abigail, will lead our singing. New members of our faith community will be welcomed, and Holy Communion will be shared with all.
Or come on Sunday morning to one of our two classic style worship services at 8:30 a.m. and 11 a.m. Prayer shawls will be blessed at 8:30 a.m., and New Members will be welcomed at 11.
