connectedinprayer02sqYou are invited to a very special prayer service on Friday, May 20 at 11 a.m. My House of Prayer is a time of reflection and repentance. A time to talk to God and listen for God’s word. It is a quiet time to feel the love God has for YOU! It is also a time of thanksgiving and joy for all the blessings God has bestowed on YOU!

Please join us as we quietly hear music, scripture and prayer that will help us to feel the warmth and love that the Lord's House of Prayer offers to each and every one of us. It is a time for us to be quiet and to honestly talk quietly to our Heavenly Father.

mealsministrysq01For many years, Church of the Palms parishioners have provided meals to our church members who hit the occasional bump-in-the road. It has been a while since we have updated this program, and with new energy stirring within our committees and new members coming aboard, now is the perfect time to get the word out that we have this great meal program available to our parishioners in need.

If you are in need of a meal, whether due to surgery, a sudden onset of illness, or another unexpected incident; or if you know someone who might be in need, please contact Cheryl Hurley: 843-705-7849 or This email address is being protected from spambots. prayershawl01sqOne of the many ministries offered at Church of the Palms is our Prayer Shawl Ministry.

We are looking for people that knit or crochet and are willing to knit or crochet prayer shawls and/or lap throws. This is a wonderful way to offer strength, comfort and support for anyone who may be experiencing health issues, loss of a loved one or any need they may have. The shawls or lap throws are prayed over by Pastor Pete before they are given out to those that need them.

There are a couple of patterns that might be helpful for this project if needed. Contact Dee Lehr if you are interested in helping with this very rewarding Ministry. (843-757-6775 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) Thank you!
