On June 15, Mike Porter, Chair of Church Council, and John McMullan, shared some of Vision 2020. They also shared models and renderings of one option, should expansion be the decision.
Rev. Thomas Pearson, District Superintendent, was present at Church of the Palms on August 19 for a special Charge Conference.
At this meeting the following individuals were elected to serve as a Building Committee to lead the process of designing and building an addition to the current church building.

The Charge Conference also approved the opening of a Building Fund to receive contributions towards this project.

No specific decision have been made on the actual size or configuration so these should be consider just possibilities.
Church of the Palms is pleased to announce the introduction of an electronic option for making regular offerings, making contributions to the capital campaign/building fund, paying for books, and other donations.
Contributions can now be debited automatically from your checking or savings account or processed using your credit or debit card. Our electronic giving option, enabled by Vanco Payment Solutions, offers safety, security, and convenience for you and easier processing of funds for our church.
Vanco is endorsed by the General Council on Finance and Administration.
